Public Notice – School Board Vacancy (Zone 6)
Palestine-Wheatley School District announces a vacancy on the Board of Directors for Zone 6.
The Board will consider and appoint a qualified elector residing in Zone 6 at a public meeting on
Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 7:00 PM, held at The Palestine-Wheatley High School Library.
Eligibility:
● Must be a qualified elector who resides in Zone 6 of the Palestine-Wheatley School
District.
How to be considered:
● Submit a petition stating your intent to be considered, signed by at least twenty (20)
qualified electors who reside within Zone 6.
and
● File your completed petition on or before Thursday, February 12, 2026, by 4:30 PM at the
superintendent's office.
