Good Luck to the Palestine - Wheatley Lady Patriot Softball team and Patriot Baseball team as they travel to play in Regional Tournaments today.

Palestine-Wheatley High School will be hosting a Mock ACT for any high school students wishing to participate on May 13th from 8:30-12:30 in the cafeteria. Students will be provided a practice test, testing materials, and snacks. Students will receive their scoring report that day to help them better understand the gaps that exist in their learning to give them the tools to improve their score. Students must sign up outside Mrs. Holman's office.

We are pleased to announce, Palestine-Wheatley Elementary has received the Nita M. Lowery 21st CCLC Grant in order to improve and enhance opportunities for academic enrichment, including providing tutorial services to help students, offer students a broad array of additional services, programs and activities, and offer families opportunities for active and meaningful engagement in their student’s education. This program will be implemented in the 2024-2025 school year, and all students are invited to participate. More details coming soon!

Congratulations to Aden Abram! Aden broke the school record of 124’8” he set 2 weeks ago in Jonesboro, with a throw of 126’9”yesterday at State in Quitman. He placed 3rd at State.

Take me out to the ball game...... Well that's just what the Palestine - Wheatley Patriot Baseball team did today. Thanks to Coach's Kevin Whitson and William Colvin, as well as Athletic Director Carey Knowlton for taking the Patriot baseball players to the Memphis Redbirds game today.




Congratulations to Anthony Pendleton, who beat the school record for the farthest shot put throw of 39’2” set in 2022 with a throw of 39’10”. Anthony received 2nd place at the conference meet

Congratulations to Aden Abram, who beat the school record for farthest discus throw of 121’1” that was set in 2010. Aden had a throw of 124’8” on April 18th, prequalifying him for State before the conference track meet. Aden also became Conference Discus Champ for the 2nd year in a row on April 23rd.
